Mark Cunnning

Mark Cunning is CEO & Content Director at iRadio, a semi national music station covering 15 counties across the West, North West, North East & Midlands of Ireland broadcasting to 340,000 listeners every week. Mark is responsible for strategy, development and future proofing the iRadio brand.

2023 see’s Mark celebrate his 21st year in the radio industry. Mark's radio career began in the North of Ireland as a presenter on Q Radio and then Cool FM. Now in his 16th year with iRadio Mark has worked his way up from the role of daytime presenter, to Head of Music, Content Director, General Manager.

In 2019 Mark was appointed Chief Executive Officer. Mark jokes that if you hang around long enough, they’ll give you the keys, but his CV and list of accomplishments would suggest there may be a bit more to it than that.

Away from radio, Mark juggles being dad, running comms for a number of voluntary groups, and when time allows, surfing, running and cycling along Ireland’s beautiful west coast.
